The sky opened and drained all our thoughts of a marvelous gig at "Å-natta". There were rivers on the streets of Gävle and the show was of.
But, since we where in town we immediately called a friend of ours to see if there was a place for Mandylon to perform an acoustic set. And there was!
So we basically grabbed the two lousiest guitars available, managed to find an African drum for Nick and amplified Matt's bass. During sound check (1h pre-gig) we said to our selves:
We are about to perform unplugged for the first time, with not a single rehearsal to lean on. Cool.
The gig were pretty cool - 4 pillows, 4 microphones and 4 wasted souls called Mandylon. This was an extraordinary Mandylon gig. No guitar trashing, no male to male tongue fighting and no rock star posing! Just Mandylon at the top of our capacity.
